As the name says it all, this machine makes use of two rice rubber rolls, both of which are of the same diameter. These rollers are operated at various speeds so that the husk gets removed from paddy. One of these rollers is fixed and the other can be adjusted.

Now let us have a look at a few general guidelines you need to follow while using these.

The paddy used in these machines needs to have at least 14% of moisture. It is also important to check the alignment of the rolls before you start the machine. The clearance of the rice rubber rolls should be about 0.5 mm or they should be placed in a way that they don’t touch each other.

The rice rubber rolls that are uneven and worn out should be properly lathed so that the surface is smooth and very uniform.
