PERFORMANCE GUIDELINE OF RICE RUBBER ROLL

The hulling machine is used  to separate hulls from the grains. The two roll are attached, and they remove hulls. But there are specific guidelines which need to ensure for there optimum performance. In operation, the feed gate should be opened so that the roll can wear out uniformly. The stopping of the machine the feed gate of the roll must be closed and the roll of paddy should be cleared. The surface of the rice rubber roll must be aligned so that while rotating they are at an equal distance.

The efficiency of the hull should be checked at the proper interval. The baffle plates which are at sides of the rice rubber roll must be checked regularly so that there is no leakage of paddy between the plates and the surface of the rice roll. The roller must be at the equal distance while rotating. The cover plates of the cooling chamber which are there at the inside of the housing of the rolls must be cleaned at regular intervals.

Precautions are to be taken to ensure the smooth working of the rice rubber roll. As they have made the work more comfortable and had saved the time. But to get the high productivity, the measures are essential which is to be taken care of. If rice rubber roll are not clean and maintained adequately than the performance will go low. The huller which is there should not run with a roll without any feed .on the huller. When the operation is completed there should not be any grain present on the roll as this will deform the quality of the rubber of the roll.
